Wellness Checkpoint hosted a seminar in Mexico City on December 4, 2019, focused on what employers need to do to comply with Mexico’s new “Norma Oficial Mexicana NOM-035-STPS-2018” (NOM-035) legislation.
The seminar included presentations from the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS – responsible for inspection of compliance) and the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS – responsible for standards for clinical evaluation of employees suffering from post-traumatic stress), as well as client experience testimonials from clients already using the InfoTech NOM-035: Psychosocial Risk at Work Service. Illustrated by case studies, CEO Zorianna Hyworon presented an overview of how the Wellness Checkpoint NOM-035 Service provides the necessary risk identification, analysis and reporting, and InfoTech COO Mike Hicks showcased how the NOM-035 Service can be integrated with the Wellness Checkpoint health risk assessment.
