Canada Turns 150 Years Old – July 1st, 2017

One hundred and fifty years ago, Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia united to create what is now known as modern-day Canada. As usual, Canada Day will be marked on July 1st by fireworks, a speech from the prime minister and hordes of people descending on sites all over the nation dressed in red and white. Our little group here in Winnipeg wants to share with you our efforts in celebrating and what we created to help commemorate Canada’s big birthday!
